Introduction of functional neurology, and how our nervous system receives & interprets signals coming from our body.
Covering topics such as mechanoreceptors, nociceptors, neurological states, tonic states of muscles. Students will learn and understand how & why symptoms arise, such as pain.
Students will learn how to use Manual Muscle Testing (MMT) to assess the states of certain muscle groups, and determine the health of its neuromuscular integrity.
Students will learn how to apply therapeutic interventions, such as the Bowen Technique, exercises, and other manual modalities according to the results of MMT assessments.
Revisit theoretical & practical knowledge of Part 1.
Students will learn how to determine whether a neurological dysfunction is the Top Dysfunction, or a Compensational Dysfunction. New neurological tools will be introduced to help assessment each dysfunction.
Students will also learn about the relationship between Stress & Pain, and how it affects the perception of pain. Introduction of a new technique to help clients process their emotions and stress-pain response, to ensure that the treatment results hold for long term.
